Thanks for looking around our new web-site! I am so impressed by the talent and skill of our many volunteers. Habitat is truly a one-stop for volunteerism. It seems that hundreds of volunteers are actively on the job for us at any one time. The ReStore is bustling, we have rehab projects underway with our new program, A Brush With Kindness, we have two construction projects moving along very well in Wedowee, Alabama,Donna’s DIY workshops just to mention a few of our focus areas.
Despite all the good news, we can’t forget our brothers and sisters in Haiti and Chile. It seems that homes are destroyed faster than we can build them. Troup/Chambers/Randolph Habitat for Humanity has been doing its part: our International Tithe Program, and recent Haiti Relief gifts, have now served nearly twenty-five families worldwide in the past five years, a number equal to our families served locally in our three-county region.
We may never finish, but we’ll never tire
Peace,
Steven W. Brown
